MIA & TIM TRACEY · SINCE 2020

A little beginning.
A lot of Dough.

A family bakery with its roots in Upper Hutt, making a place in Wellington’s everyday.

HOW THE DREAM STARTED

From a lockdown loaf
to your local.

Mia and Tim Tracey opened Dough in 2020, in Mia’s hometown of Upper Hutt. They already knew Wellington hospitality through Pickle & Pie.

During lockdown, Tim’s experiments with sourdough grew into something bigger. Encouraged to take on a local lease, the pair turned that home-baking enthusiasm into a bakery for their community.

Dough has grown from those beginnings, with the family still part of the work. Bread, pastries and cakes are made at the Upper Hutt HQ and shared through the region’s stores.

FAMILY AT THE HEART

Good people.
Good dough.

A familiar face, a favourite loaf, a little reason to stop by. That is the spirit we want every Dough visit to carry.
